The race is over!
The auction for the 24 limited edition vinyls has ended. Thank you everyone for participating and for bidding so generously.
Porsche and Le Mans is a story that goes back decades. In 2017, after three overall victories in a row, the legendary Porsche 919 Hybrid bid its farewell to the LMP1 class in Le Mans. And we decided to give it one last tribute.
The famous wheels that ran on the 919 Hybrid have been immortalized. A vinyl record has been pressed from the tyres of this legendary race car. And on the vinyl you find a journey through the history of Porsche at Le Mans.
In a stirring 24-minute audio experience, we tell 24 iconic stories. Not on our own: For the 24 tracks, we are joined by racing royalty and Le Mans legends. Dr. Wolfgang Porsche describes his experiences at the race as a boy. Chad McQueen tells us about sitting on his father’s lap in a race car. And Hans-Joachim Stuck lives through one of our biggest tragedies once again. Our Le Mans history is like no other- and now it’s pressed in vinyl for all eternity.
The numbers 1 through 24 of the 200-piece limited edition have been up for auction. The proceeds were donated to Loisirs Pluriel in Le Mans, an organisation supporting disabled children all over France.

Who receives the donation in Le Mans?
Loisirs Pluriel is an organisation that cares for disabled children in France. They offer housing for children, enabling them to play, live and grow up with other children while also unburdening their parents. Every year 1,400 children join programs in 27 centres around France. Their Le Mans branch is only 2.4 kilometres away from the race track.
